i realized today that i have again fallen off the wagon of updating my blog on a regular basis... i do apologize...
my Friend *capitalized because she really deserves that capital letter* told me my previously posted questions were too confusing and deep... she said that she wanted to leave a comment but couldn't... and i wanted to know why... she asked me if i read my blog after i posted :) so i came back to do so...
and came to the conclusion that questions like this are simply matter of opinion and backed by matters of the heart rather than concrete evidence in your support. so don't be shy... answer what you want to answer...
but here are some more questions...
1. do you think everyone sees colors the same way? is my pink the same as your pink? it would make sense that they would have some degree of variation because we are all slightly different... like with our other senses. but *scenario time* what if you, while learning your colors in pre-school, correctly matched the colors and names BUT you identified what we call yellow as more of a red color? you have learned the name yellow goes with that shade, but if someone else were to use your eyes they would see red? what about that? do you think that could be the case, ever? i need to find someone who has had an eye replacement and ask them... (incidentally, did you know that everything you see is actually the inverted and upside down? did you also know that we piece together images similar to frames of an animated film? we don't have a constant visual input. that is why television works... rapid flashes of pictures create the moving image... we don't know the difference... pretty amazing, huh?)
2. what determines the location of a freckle? freckles are melanin rich cell clusters... but what determines where a freckle will "pop up?" is there a method to the madness in this case or is it completely random? what makes one cluster of skin cells more melanin rich than a cluster two inches over?
3. can you imagine the sun not coming up in the morning... not like a rainy day missing sun, but an actual day without a sunrise? what if the sun came up from the opposite direction? what would that look like?
4. the Hand that holds the world manages to hold mine too... do you think He has sweaty palms? do i have sweaty palms?
5. how is it that a family, spread out by distance and years, can experience the same feelings in the same day without any communication between its members? has that ever happened to you? it happened to my family today...
6. how did mary poppins float in when the winds changed? that is so not possible, but it is an imaginative idea... when the winds of change blow in our lives, does "mary poppins" blow in?
